Sie findet Anwendung in vielen Bereichen von der Industrie, \u00fcber Medizin, bis hin zur Heimtechnik. Sie wird meist als K\u00f6rner oder feink\u00f6rniges Pulver verkauft.<sup>[1]<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Wie funktioniert Aktivkohle ?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Aktivkohle hat eine riesige Oberfl\u00e4che. Mit zwischen 300 und 2000m<sup>2<\/sup>\/g hat ein Gramm A-Kohle ungef\u00e4hr die Oberfl\u00e4che eines Fu\u00dfballfeldes. Mit dieser sehr gro\u00dfen Oberfl\u00e4che kommen auch sehr gro\u00dfe Oberfl\u00e4chenkr\u00e4fte. Durch diese Kr\u00e4fte ist die A-Kohle in der Lage jegliche Partikel zu binden. Zu solchen Partikeln geh\u00f6ren Staub- und Schmutzpartikel oder Gift-, Farb- und Aromastoffe.<sup>[2]<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Wie wird A-Kohle hergestellt ?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Aktivkohle wird aus jeglichen Quellen f\u00fcr Kohlenstoff, wie Pflanzenmaterial aber auch durch Stein- und Braunkohle hergestellt. Hierbei werden organische Verbindungen so lange chemisch oder physikalisch behandelt, bis haupts\u00e4chlich Kohlenstoff \u00fcbrig ist. Anschlie\u00dfend wird diese Kohle \u201eaktiviert\u201c, indem man, mittels Oxidation mit Wasserdampf oder Luftsauerstoff Teile der Kohle in Kohlenstoffmonoxid und anschlie\u00dfend in Kohlenstoffdioxid umsetzt. Hierdurch entsteht ein l\u00f6chriges, schwammiges Netz aus aktivierter Kohle. <sup>[3]<\/sup><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\"><b>Wo wird Aktivkohle eingesetzt ?<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">A-Kohle wird in der Reinigung und Aufarbeitung in Klima-, und Bel\u00fcftungsanlagen, als Tr\u00e4ger von Katalysatoren und Aufarbeitungsmittel in der Chemie, als Giftstoff bindender Stoff in der Medizin, zur Entfernung von unerw\u00fcnschten Geschmacks-, oder Farbstoffen in Lebensmitteln (z.B. in Wodka und Rum), als Filter in Atemschutzmasken und als Aquarien-, Teich- und Trinkwasserfilter genutzt.
